Designed as a space for company R&D, customers, and commercial teams to collaborate, the world-class H.B. Fuller Applications Lab and Training Center is where new ideas are tested and products evaluated. It’s also used as training center to help customers understand the company’s product capabilities and how to use them.

“Customers are welcome to visit, and in fact, we want them to visit,” says Brandon Rhoades, Laboratory Technical Services Manager – Building Adhesives Solutions. “You can see IG units being made and the industry equipment being used. The Training Center includes a Ködispace 4SG vertical line, a U channel Intercept® extruder and oven/press, an XY glazing table, and a rapid assessment chamber. We do lots of trials and demos.”

If a prospective customer is planning on purchasing a vertical line, H.B. Fuller will build their IG units in the Applications lab, certified to E2190, through their Supplier Assistance Program, while their vertical line is being installed.
